Issam has spent more than 25 years inside the aviation industry, across operations, flight support, and aviation management. One frustration followed him the whole way: there was no single book that explained how this remarkable industry actually fits together.
So he wrote it.

Dunn, Glyn Hughes, and Dr. Gerasimos Kontos) walks readers through the entire aviation world, from the history of flight to airlines, airports, air traffic, meteorology, safety, and the careers that keep it all moving. It is written in plain, friendly language for students, professionals, and the simply curious.
Issam is based in the UAE. When he isn't writing or working, he is building Charlie Center: a free, playful home for aviation education, with quizzes and games that make anyone aviation-aware.
