What Charlie Center stores, and what it does not, in plain English.

The short version
You can play everything on this site without an account and without giving us anything. Your game progress (streaks, passport stamps, quiz results) lives in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
What we store, and when
- Game scores. After you finish a daily round, an anonymous result (day number, guess count, an optional callsign you chose, and a random identifier your browser generates) is sent to our database to power the worldwide stats and crew rooms. It contains no name, no email, no location.
- Email address. Only if you ask for the sample chapter, updates, or unlimited game play. We store it in our own database, use it to send your sign-in link and occasional offers from Charlie Center, and nothing else. Unsubscribe works with one click, and we never sell or share the list.
- Corporate inquiries. What you type in the inquiry form is stored so we can reply, and emailed to Issam. Nothing else is done with it.
- Display name. If you unlock the games with your email you may pick an optional display name. It is stored with your email, shown only to you (on your boarding pass and greetings), never public, and deleted on request via the contact form.
- Contact messages. What you send through the contact form is stored so we can reply, and emailed to Issam. Nothing else.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are read and whether clicks reach the book's Amazon page. These tools use cookies or aggregate measurements; we see statistics, not identities.
Third parties
- Hosting and analytics: Cloudflare and Google Analytics.
- The Amazon links on this site lead to Amazon's own store, under Amazon's terms.
- Game photos are served from our own hosting. Each keeps its photographer credit and license, shown right where the photo appears.
- Our forms keep anti-abuse counters: salted hashes of the connection or address, never the raw values. Counters older than two days are deleted the next time any form is used.
Your choices
Clear your browser storage and every trace of your play history is gone. Use the contact form to have your subscription, display name, or inquiry data deleted. We do it, no questions.
